Little Woven Fish

These sweet little fish speak to the beauty of nature, and are a lovely little addition to any space. Handwoven by Mexican artisans from flexible Jipijapa palm which is similar to the toquilla palm used in Ecuador to make the famed panama hats.

Made by a small collective of artisans who grow the palm plants, every piece is woven in a cave, which the families have on their respective properties, to ensure that they maintain enough cool humidity to work on their weaving projects during any time of the day or year.

Every piece features a soft, delicate and intricately woven body, a fringed tail, a black beaded eye, along with a top loop for hanging. A sublime example of the healthy practice of bringing nature indoors.

Approximately 5.5" long, plus hanging loop
