About Miarante:
Miarante is a jewelry line created by Scottish artist Jenni Dowie. Jenni selects each preciaous stone and tiny diamonds and each piece has been inspired by the many different aspects of her homeland amongst the rugged mountains, forests and deep clear lochs of the Trossachs. Each Gaelic/Scots item name reflects a place, a mood, a history. The stones capture the subtle colors of green moss, pink heather, bracken and fern; a landscape that is sometimes harsh, sometimes gentle, but always mystical. No two stones are ever exactly alike, just as no one walk in the country will be precisely the same as the one before.
Miarante uses primarily 'Fair trade Gems' which means that they are closely tracked from 'mine-to-market' to ensure every gem has been handled according to strict ethical and environmental protocols. Based in Chicago, each Miarante piece is carefully handcrafted by a skilled production team. Jenni uses expert casters, polishers and stone setters so each stage has the full attention of one individual. SHIPPING POLICY:
We apply a $10 flat rate for standard ground shipping on orders shipped within the United States, with some exclusions for fragile, heavy, or oversized items.
Leather Bags: Most Stitch and Tickle leather items are made to order and may take up to 2 weeks to ship. We’re happy to accommodate faster turn around times when possible. Items from the shop ship within 3 business days when in stock. Please let us know if you’re on a tight deadline and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Other items from the shop: If in stock, we ship at least twice a week, i.e. usually within 3 business days from when you placed your order. In the event that some items are on backorder from our suppliers, you will be notified as soon as possible with expected ship date.
Most items ship via UPS Ground or USPS, depending on pickups and rates (which vary often). Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for items lost in transit or after delivery. Customers will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number once their order ships and it is the customer's responsibility to track and collect their package at delivery to minimize the risk of loss or theft. Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
