Hawthorne Shorts - Grass Pencil Stripe
Made in a grass green pencil stripe fabric pattern, the Hawthorne Shorts are an easy to wear, fashionable garment. It features an elastic waist band, two front pockets, two back pockets, and turned up hems. Pairs great with the Nou Dress, also available in Grass Pencil Stripe, or the Sami Shirt.
Custom woven from India in our in our yarn dyed 100% cotton. Garment dyed for color vibrancy and softness. Made in LA.

LWN, pronounced "lawn", was born of the boredom of beige and chasing trends. The vision was to create useful, fun clothes that compliment a creative lifestyle. LWN pieces are modular building blocks, colorful and simple in their silhouette. The idea is to play and fold them into your existing wardrobe.

They use LA local dead-stock, repurposed garments, and upcycled materials to create their pieces. Brand labels, design details, trims and cords are made from fabric off-cuts. Instead of going in the trash, scraps are used these to finish and embellish the clothing.
Natural, single fiber fabrics are used with the post-use afterlife of our products in mind, avoiding plastic, polyester, and other petroleum based materials. This means no zippers (nylon + plastic) or poly bags.Garments are not overproduced to avoid contributing to the culture of wastefulness and pollution.
Manufacturing is done mostly in Downtown LA with local family factories.
They strive to maintain these practices while doing our utmost to keep LWN reasonably priced. Products are made to be loved, not filling landfills.
SHIPPING POLICY:
We apply a $10 flat rate for standard ground shipping on orders shipped within the United States, with some exclusions for fragile, heavy, or oversized items.
Leather Bags: Most Stitch and Tickle leather items are made to order and may take up to 2 weeks to ship. We’re happy to accommodate faster turn around times when possible. Items from the shop ship within 3 business days when in stock. Please let us know if you’re on a tight deadline and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Other items from the shop: If in stock, we ship at least twice a week, i.e. usually within 3 business days from when you placed your order. In the event that some items are on backorder from our suppliers, you will be notified as soon as possible with expected ship date.
Most items ship via UPS Ground or USPS, depending on pickups and rates (which vary often). Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for items lost in transit or after delivery. Customers will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number once their order ships and it is the customer's responsibility to track and collect their package at delivery to minimize the risk of loss or theft. Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
International orders: Exact shipping charges will be quoted at checkout depending on the chosen shipping method.
