Mater Soap Bar - Re-Bar Rope Soap

Re-bar, made with a base with high olive content, is a terrazzo style bar incorporating the cut ends (waste of production) of Mater Soap's core bar soap varieties. Lightly scented with cedar wood and lavender essential oils and made with all natural plant ingredients, this bar contains a rainbow, slowly revealing itself to you with every use. The natural coconut husk rope allows you to hang up your bar to dry, increasing its lifespan and freeing up your shower space.

A Rope Soap is the equivalent of over two Mater regular soap bars and it will last. Use it for your face, hands, and body. Handmade soap will last if kept dry between uses.

Ingredients: Olive oil, water, coconut oil, lye, shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil, mango butter, zinc oxide, essential oils

About Mater Soap:

Founded by Addison Walz in Brooklyn NY, Mater Soap seeks to perfect the simple yet subtle alchemy of soap-making and skin care. Mater, named after the Latin word for mother, offers a variety of cold-process bar soaps and organic body products. Sourcing inspiration from sculpture, architecture, and textiles, their aesthetic pairs dynamic experience with simple and absolute function. Using 100% natural, sustainably-sourced plant ingredients like smoky pine tar, rose-colored kaolin clay, and salty sea plants, they provide the bather with products that nourish the body and mind, enhancing the bathing ritual.

Mater Soap pays homage to utilitarian objects that quietly serve our daily lives. Mater Soap chooses materials and composes recipes that speak to the well being of the bather as well as the planet. Their products are enriched by thoughtful and deliberate ingredients, with a conscious effort to minimize ecological impact.
