Red Pine Hardcover Notebook
This is a 'living notebook' made from unprocessed Japanese red pine shaved to an astounding thinness and then dried. The soft fragrance of red pine is present. Each sheet of wood is individually bound.
This new introduction has a hardcover and 'German style' binding. No matter which page you open to, the book opens flat at 180 degrees without having to press it down with your hands. A favorite page may be easily displayed as a work of art.
Recommended for writing down important records you want to keep forever - reminiscences, collections, and sketches.. or as a base for ephemera such as stamps and tickets.
100 pages. Size B6 (5"x7"). Packaged with a light blue obi band.
As each page is alive, you will notice changes over time - perhaps a change of color, some slight warping or a tear along the grain - please enjoy this natural unfolding. Pen, pencil, brush pen, etc may be used - only mechanical pencil is not recommended.
SHIPPING POLICY:
We apply a $10 flat rate for standard ground shipping on orders shipped within the United States, with some exclusions for fragile, heavy, or oversized items.
Leather Bags: Most Stitch and Tickle leather items are made to order and may take up to 2 weeks to ship. We’re happy to accommodate faster turn around times when possible. Items from the shop ship within 3 business days when in stock. Please let us know if you’re on a tight deadline and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Other items from the shop: If in stock, we ship at least twice a week, i.e. usually within 3 business days from when you placed your order. In the event that some items are on backorder from our suppliers, you will be notified as soon as possible with expected ship date.
Most items ship via UPS Ground or USPS, depending on pickups and rates (which vary often). Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for items lost in transit or after delivery. Customers will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number once their order ships and it is the customer's responsibility to track and collect their package at delivery to minimize the risk of loss or theft. Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for any loss or damage during transit.
