Stone Hollow Preserves
We are excited to offer delicious preserves from Stone Hollow Farmstead, a mother-daughter family farm in Alabama. All with unique flavor combinations, perfect to enjoy at breakfast or as a gift.
Each jar contains 8 oz. Choose from following flavors in drop down menu:
Fairytale Grapefruit Marmalade: Tart grapefruit segments, sugar and fresh lemon juice meld together to create the taste of summer in a jar. One bite will have your taste buds on high alert, awaiting the next and the next and the next. The addition of whiskey here makes this variety more sophisticated and best left to the adults
Calamondin Jalapeno Preserves: The thin-skinned calamondin citrus is almost ephemeral in its short-lived beauty. Preserving the fruit with just the right amount of sugar prolongs its singular flavor profile that is sophisticatedly sweet as well as tart. A touch of jalapeño adds a kick that is not soon forgotten.
Fairytale Fig Preserves: What takes this Southern staple to fairytale heights? Whiskey, of course! The smoky barrel-infused flavor serves as an unexpected member of an otherwise straight-forward (and perhaps straight-laced) cast.
Blackberry Rose Geranium Preserves:
A perfect balance of fruity and flowery favors, we know you’ll enjoy these preserves on everything from English muffins to cream-cheese topped bagels.
Strawberry Jalapeno Jam: The ruby-red fruit will fill your mouth with summer sweetness but it is the after-tremble of the jalapeños that have you going back for more. Great with cream cheese on toasted baguettes, or paired with grilled meats, or use them to craft your own cocktails.
Wild Violet Jelly: Sweet and floral, with hints of blueberry and raspberry, wild violet jelly. The wild violet blossoms have a delicate and distinctive fragrance and is one of the most delicate things you'll ever eat. It is a treat in itself and it will turn any plain yogurt or vanilla ice cream into a refined dessert.
About Stone Hollow Farmstead:
The Stone family comes from a line of Alabama gardeners and farmers, sharing their history in all facets of the farmstead. Honoring both her parents' and her grandparents' heritage, Deborah Stone founded Stone Hollow Farmstead in 1999 with her husband and daughters. Lessons learned from her grandparents, who ran a sustainable farm and grocery store, are evident in the jars of rose petal jam, the hillside of happy goats, the hives of honeybees and the heirloom herb gardens. Their family business has grown from a natural love for the land and nurturing the process to producing the finest cheeses, specialty foods, and cosmeceuticals.
