Made in Japan in a 3rd generation sock factory. Nishigushi Kutsushita (Knitwin Co.) started in 1950, shortly after the war, with one hand-knitting machine. They now have 130 machines in operation and work with a team of craftsmen that ranges from 50 years of experience to younger employees who they hope will lead the company into its future.
Sizes S (36-40), Medium (40-44) and Large (44-48) available - pick from drop down menu. Please note that in our experience, women commonly pick S or M depending on their shoe size.
57% cotton, 38% wool, 4% polyester, 1% elastane
We apply a $10 flat rate for standard ground shipping on orders shipped within the United States, with some exclusions for fragile, heavy, or oversized items.
Leather Bags: Most Stitch and Tickle leather items are made to order and may take up to 2 weeks to ship. We’re happy to accommodate faster turn around times when possible. Items from the shop ship within 3 business days when in stock. Please let us know if you’re on a tight deadline and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Other items from the shop: If in stock, we ship at least twice a week, i.e. usually within 3 business days from when you placed your order. In the event that some items are on backorder from our suppliers, you will be notified as soon as possible with expected ship date.
Most items ship via UPS Ground or USPS, depending on pickups and rates (which vary often). Stitch and Tickle is not responsible for items lost in transit or after delivery. Customers will receive a shipping notification with a tracking number once their order ships and it is the customer's responsibility to track and collect their package at delivery to minimize the risk of loss or theft.
